Hidden Camera Detector Finder
Terms & Conditions
Effective September 23, 2026
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Hidden Camera Detector Finder mobile application (the “Application”), provided by byeshe (the “Service Provider,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) as a freemium service. By downloading, accessing, purchasing through, or using the Application, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Application.
Purpose of the Application
The Application helps you organize an inspection of a room for possible hidden cameras or surveillance devices using five on-device detection methods: a camera lens-reflection scan, a magnetic-field sweep, a Wi-Fi local-network device scan, a Bluetooth nearby-device scan, and manual photo comparison. You can group results by area, work through a checklist, and save findings into a report.
Your content and responsibilities
You retain ownership of the areas, findings, notes, and photo evidence you create. Camera frames and sensor readings used for detection are processed on your device to produce the result you request; camera preview frames are not saved by the Application, and photo evidence is saved only when you choose to capture it.
You are responsible for:
- granting and keeping the permissions the system requires for the detector you want to use — camera, Bluetooth, and local-network/Wi-Fi access;
- using each detector in a safe, lawful manner, including only scanning Wi-Fi networks and Bluetooth devices you own or have permission to inspect;
- evaluating detection results with your own judgment rather than treating them as conclusive; and
- keeping your own copies of findings and reports you cannot afford to lose.
Local data may be lost if you uninstall the Application, clear its data, or lose or damage your device. We do not guarantee recovery of local content or the accuracy of any detector.
Acceptable use
You may not misuse the Application or attempt to interfere with its operation. Except where applicable law expressly permits it, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, decompile, extract source code, bypass security or payment controls, or create derivative versions of the Application. You may not use the Application to violate law, infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights, scan networks or devices without authorization, introduce malicious code, or abuse third-party services.
Intellectual property
The Application, its design, software, branding, graphics, audio, and other included materials are owned by or licensed to the Service Provider and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Application for its intended purpose. They do not transfer ownership to you.
Purchases, subscriptions, and refunds
Some features, or ad removal, may require an in-app purchase. Before any purchase, Google Play displays the price, billing period, trial terms (if any), and whether a purchase or subscription renews automatically. Payment is charged through your Google Play account. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Google Play account settings. Cancellation generally takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds and billing disputes are governed by Google Play’s policies and applicable law.
We may change available plans, prices, or what a purchase includes prospectively. A price change to an existing subscription will be handled through Google Play and any notice or consent process it requires.
Advertising and third-party services
The free version may contain advertising through Google AdMob and mediation partners. The Application also relies on third-party services for distribution, analytics, diagnostics, configuration, advertising, consent management, and billing. Your use of those services may be governed by their own terms:
- Google Play Services
- Google Play
- Firebase
- Google AdMob
- Google Payments
- Meta
- TikTok / Pangle
- AppLovin
- Liftoff Monetize (Vungle)

- ironSource
We are not responsible for third-party content, services, availability, or practices.
Internet, device, and updates
Local detection features generally work without a network connection; Wi-Fi network scanning requires being connected to a Wi-Fi network, and advertising, purchases, and remote configuration require internet access. You are responsible for connectivity, data, roaming, device, and carrier charges. You must maintain a compatible, reasonably secure device and may need to install updates to continue using the Application.
We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue features, and we may release updates for security, compatibility, legal, or operational reasons. We do not promise that the Application will always be available, error-free, or compatible with every device or operating-system version.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled and is incorporated into these Terms.
Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Application is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability, and non-infringement. Detection results, distance estimates, and anomaly levels are informational and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unreliable.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service Provider and its suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, privacy, or access, arising from or related to the Application, including reliance on any detection result. Our total liability for claims relating to the Application will not exceed the amount you paid us through the Application during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Termination
You may stop using the Application at any time. We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect the Application, users, third parties, or comply with law, including for a material breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your license to use the Application ends. Provisions that by their nature should survive will remain in effect.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms on this page and update the effective date. If you do not agree to revised Terms, stop using the Application. Continued use after the revised Terms take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
Applicable law
These Terms are governed by applicable law, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections available where you live. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
